Description: This book features a series of collage created from my grandmother’s geology book. She was a Kansas farmer who studied the land she walked collecting and categorizing rock samples into a collection. The book displays the series and creates context for the entire practice with contributions by poet Sommer Browning, essayist Matt Morris, and cultural ecologist Ash North Compton that discuss rural nostalgia, landscape, and class.
