Territory is an all-encompassing installation of painting and soft sculpture built up over months in a Chicago apartment without greatly disrupting the livability of the space. Territory is a mini-colonization narrative that alludes to the function of each room as it elucidates the architecture of the apartment in an attempt to situate the living space historically and socially. And it was fun.
